While studying at IU, she was selected into the Math and Science Scholars Program. Dr. Oliver received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, where she excelled and was the recipient of several academic awards. Immediately following dental school graduation, Dr. Oliver continued her academic excellence at Howard University College of Dentistry, where she received advanced postgraduate specialty training in Orthodontics. Dr. Oliver stays abreast of the latest research and advances in technology by regularly attending continuing education courses. She has special interests in clear aligner therapy, interceptive treatment (Phase I orthodontics), and Orthognathics (jaw surgery).

Over the years Dr. Oliver has truly enjoyed creating beautiful smiles in our Nation’s Capital, where she was pivotal in her leadership positions within the local dental societies. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. When outside of the office you can find Dr. Oliver spending time with her family, taking a pure barre class, and exploring different countries.
